Ortus Recruitment are currently partnering with a welcoming and well-established mainstream primary school in Clapham that is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The school is looking for someone adaptable and confident who can support pupils across KS1 and KS2, including children with additional needs and behavioural challenges.

The Role:

You will support learning within the classroom, working with individuals and small groups to help pupils engage with lessons and reach their potential. Flexibility, patience, and a proactive attitude are key to succeeding in this role.

What the School Is Looking For:

• A positive and imaginative approach to supporting learning
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable attendance and good organisational ability
• Experience working with children in any capacity, such as:
  • Youth or community work
  • Sports coaching
  • Tutoring or mentoring
  • Childminding or nannying
  • Voluntary roles
• A degree or relevant qualification (core subjects preferred, but not essential)
