Ortus Recruitment are currently seeking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our partnered mainstream primary school with an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report. Job Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, your main responsibility will revolve around assisting vulnerable children with their educational needs. Clear communication skills and the ability to confidently deliver learning is essential in this role for the pupils to flourish.

• This is a Full-Time position Mon-Fri (08:30am-16:00pm)
• Based in Roehampton (London Borough of Wandsworth)

Requirements:

• Degrees in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama and Performing Arts are ideal, but we welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children
• Have experience working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work | Mentoring | Tutoring | Childcare | Voluntarily
• Be friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and be a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion for supporting young vulnerable pupil
• Full-Time availability (Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm)
