Ortus Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected primary school located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Our partnered school is committed to providing a high-quality education to all students and is seeking a TA to assist in maintaining this standard.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting teachers in the classroom by assisting with lesson planning and preparation
• Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs and challenging behaviors
• Helping to create a positive learning environment for all students
• Participating in meetings and professional development opportunities

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting or relevant experience working with children (e.g. youth club, private nanny, sports coaching, volunteering, childminding, tutoring)
• Relevant qualifications in fields such as Education, Psychology or related fields
