Ortus Recruitment is supporting the appointment of a Teaching Assistant to join a school based in Wandsworth.

The school seeks to appoint a caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant. The role will involve working alongside teaching staff to support learning activities. Successful applicants need to be able to work closely as part of a team, be flexible and have excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills. This position is full time during term time (Monday – Friday).

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
