We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Croydon. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching and learning of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, providing support to students with various abilities and needs
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary
• Provide additional support during school trips and extracurricular activities
• Attend regular meetings and training sessions to keep up to date with best practices in teaching and learning

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable, although not essential
• A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
• A patient and flexible approach to working with students with different abilities and needs
• An understanding of relevant safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
• A commitment to your own professional development and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
