An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the borough of Croydon starting September 2024 and continuing until the end of the academic year. This position has the potential to become a permanent contract, offering a fantastic chance to gain valuable classroom experience for those interested in pursuing a career in education.

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) within the classroom.
• Provide one-on-one assistance and small group support to vulnerable students.
• Support teachers and students, monitor progress, and provide feedback.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and clear communicator who can serve as a positive role model and build strong rapport with students.

Position Details:

• Pay: £85-£100 per day

Requirements:

• Hold a high-level degree
• Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
• Provide Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Submit a comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible
