Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students across various year groups. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one or small group support, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide individual or group support to students who need additional help.
• Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they have equal access to learning opportunities.
• Contribute to the planning and organization of extracurricular activities.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
• Monitor and record students’ progress, reporting any concerns to the class teacher.
• Support the social and emotional development of students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring, and empathetic approach to working with children.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
