We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to our students’ success.

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the educational and personal development of students. You will help create a positive learning environment and provide tailored assistance to ensure that all students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom activities and assist with lesson preparation.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Assist with the assessment and recording of students’ progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience or a qualification in education (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
• Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
