Ortus Recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children of the Primary age range.

The headteacher of this vibrant Primary School, is looking for a bubbly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within their year 2 class. The ideal candidate will be able to come in and hit the ground running, and be able to commit to a full-time role, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

– Work on a 1:1/small group basis

– Assist the Class Teacher with planning and preparing lessons

– Track and report pupil’s progress

– Promote positive behaviour techniques

– Create a safe learning environment

Person Specification:

– Excellent written and spoken communicator

– Degree educated/good academic background

– Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic

– Able to build strong relationships with colleagues, students and parents/carers

– Able to commit to a full-time role
