Exciting Teaching Assistant Role – Inspiring Primary School in Croydon

We’re currently looking for enthusiastic, dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and inclusive environment. While prior experience is a bonus, it’s not essential—we’re most interested in your attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

The Role:

• Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay: £85 – £100 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience)
• Start Date: Immediate or flexible for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils in the classroom, helping to create a stimulating and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Offer one-to-one assistance to a Year 2 pupil, encouraging progress and engagement.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver effective lessons and maintain a creative, positive environment.
• Support classroom management and help promote positive behaviour strategies.
• Contribute to the wider school community with your energy, ideas, and teamwork.

• Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic about working with children
• A proactive attitude and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• A genuine interest in education and child development
• Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure
• Adaptable and able to collaborate well with others
