We are excited to offer an opportunity for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant, inclusive primary school community in Croydon. This role is perfect for those looking to gain hands-on classroom experience while helping children flourish academically and personally.

The Role:

• Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
• Pay: £89 – £100 per day (PAYE, depending on experience)

Your Responsibilities:

• Support pupils within the classroom, creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one assistance to a Year 2 student, tailoring support to meet their individual learning needs.
• Work closely with teachers and fellow staff to deliver a nurturing, stimulating classroom experience.
• Encourage and model positive behaviour, inspiring students to achieve their best.
• Assist with classroom organisation, ensuring a safe, creative, and welcoming learning space.

About You:

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and approachable, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s educational and personal development.
• Patient, adaptable, and able to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience working with children in tutoring, mentoring, or school-based roles.
• Knowledge or experience of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• A strong commitment to making a meaningful impact in education.
