The Role
We are looking for a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils across the school—both in the classroom and in small groups—helping them to access the curriculum and develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
Key Duties:
- Provide learning support to pupils under the guidance of the class teacher
- Assist with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support their progress
- Support children with special educational needs or English as an Additional Language (EAL), where required
- Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and respectful learning environment
- Help with classroom organisation and the preparation of learning materials
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with primary-aged children (in a school or childcare setting)
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable
- A positive, flexible, and patient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children thrive
