Ortus Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery TA with the skills and experience required to nurture the youngest pupils at our partnered mainstream primary school based in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will have high standards of both spoken and written English and Mathematics. Being able to communicate effectively with children and adults is essential, together with a friendly and approachable manner. Person Specification

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an excellent quality of care for children aged 2 – 4 years old. You will be experienced in working in a role that demands strong organisational skills and have the ability to cope with the demands that come with a lively Nursery environment. Above all, you will be kind with a nurturing disposition and you will uphold the values of the School: promoting these whenever possible and working in accordance with the School’s aims, policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree or relevant qualifications recognised by the Department of Education
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
