A mainstream primary school based in Wandsworth has an exceptional opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant (EYFS) to join from September 2024. As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher to improve the provision for all children. You will be based in EYFS and experience of working with children in this age range is essential. There may be times when you’re needed to cover the class in the teacher’s absence so experience of this is advantageous.

The successful candidate will need to have relevant experience and/or qualifications in working with children. Being able to communicate effectively with children and adults is essential, together with a friendly and approachable manner. Our newly appointed TA will be able to work using their own initiative and can demonstrate effective behaviour management skills. In return, they will join a supportive environment with plenty of development opportunities.

The successful candidate will get to work with the wonderful children and help them reach their full potential.

• Knowledge and experience of working within EYFS
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Creativity and passion for learning
• A thirst for knowledge, high expectations and the ability to inspire and motivate children.
• Dedication to the job and the skills to prioritise the needs of the children in their care.
• Resilience and the ability to be solution-focused
