KS2 | Teaching Assistant | Primary School | Immediate start

Do you want the opportunity to work at a ‘Good’ Ofsted school supporting pupils with mild learning difficulties?

A primary school situated in the Merton borough are currently seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant with a good work ethic to join a welcoming team that are dedicated to achieving high standards in all areas of education and development.

The Ideal Candidate:

· Be a graduate ideally with experience within primary schools.

· Some experience in Special Educational Needs.

· Gentle, kind, and empathetic with a great deal of patience and understanding.

· Experience and ability to execute literacy/numeracy interventions.

· Help teachers plan and carry out exciting lessons.

YOU MUST

· Hold a degree (ideally in a core subject)

· Past classroom experience.

· Comfortable working with SEN.

· Knowledge of phonics (preferred)

· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.

· Provide two professional child related references.

· Hold Right to work in the UK.
