We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide support in our client primary school in Iver Village, Buckinghamshire.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the team at a 4-form entry, mainstream school located in Iver, providing educational support and care for pupils, including those with special educational needs such as Autism. The role involves assisting in the development and well-being of children through tailored support and communication.

Duties:

• Educate and engage pupils in various activities to support their learning and development
• Provide specialised care for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
• Collaborate with experienced educators to create a nurturing environment
• Support working parents by ensuring a safe and stimulating setting for their children
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Special education background or experience working with individuals with autism is advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults
• A compassionate and patient approach to childcare
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
