We are currently looking for:
– General classroom Teaching Assistants in KS1 & KS2
– EYFS TA/ Nursery Nurse
– EAL Teaching Assistants
– SEN Teaching Assistants
– Learning Support Assistants
The Teaching Assistant Role
You must be able to support pupils with their literacy and numeracy skills at EYFS, KS1 & KS2 Levels. Your role may include working with children individually 1:1 or in a small group so that you can support and assist children with their needs.
As a primary teaching assistant, you will have a variety of responsibilities and duties within the classroom and outside. It will aid your application if you have at least 1-year paid experience working with children in any settings or if you have a keen interest in working with children and primary education.
The head of this primary school is looking for someone with a sense of creativity who will be eager to get stuck in, and someone who is patient, understanding and highly motivated to aid success.
Preferably, you will be an NVQ/ CACHE Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant with at least 1 years paid experience. Someone who has experience working with EAL or SEN children would also be an advantage.

This primary school has been rated GOOD by OFSTED and on a successful and positive journey to becoming ‘Outstanding’. It is extremely close to transport links into London as well as a burly staff car park for those who commute via car.
This primary school is well resources and has fantastic facilities and you will be working in either a KS1 or KS2 classroom of 30 children with a class teacher who is experienced and extremely supportive and friendly.
