Teaching Assistant Needed!

A school based in Thornton Heath are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 2 class, helping children prepare for SATs.

This role will involve working closely with the class Teacher to support children in subjects such as Maths and Literacy. You will support children who need additional help on a small group/1:1 basis and report back their progress to SLT/Teachers.

For this role, they are looking for someone who has experience working within a classroom setting and has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children of the primary age range
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Experience working with SEND is desirable
• Available full-time, immediately
• Clear written and spoken communicator
