A school located in Norbiton are looking for a highly experienced teaching assistant, who is passionate about helping children progress in their academic studies. Working as a teaching assistant means you will take on various tasks throughout the day. These will include :

  • Helping teachers plan lessons – handing out workbooks, worksheets and laying out the equipment.
  • Keeping record of the student’s progress
  • Working within a classroom and with smaller groups supporting the students in their studies
  • Making sure the children’s social, physical and emotional needs.
  • Supporting the children at breaks and lunch.

  • Organisation skills – ability to keep record of the students’ progress
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills
