Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sheffield.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support pupils across a range of year groups. Your role will include:

• Assisting with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
• Providing one-to-one or small group support to children, including those with additional needs
• Helping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment
• Supporting classroom management and behaviour
• Contributing to the overall wellbeing and development of the children

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children (in a school setting is a plus)
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, flexible, and proactive approach
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
