Teaching Assistant – Primary School

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming primary school in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and supporting their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Help pupils to engage with their learning, develop confidence, and build positive relationships.
• Support the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of pupils.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working with children (experience in a school or SEN support is desirable).
• Is patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting all children to succeed.
• Can work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff, parents, and pupils.
• Brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive approach to the role.
