Location: Croydon
Salary: £19,000 – £22,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time | Term-Time Only

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive primary school community in Croydon.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and well-being across the school day. Whether it’s helping a child master their phonics or giving extra encouragement during a maths lesson, your role will be vital in helping every child feel confident and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teaching and learning activities across various subjects
• Work one-to-one or in small groups to support pupils’ academic and personal development
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Support pupils with additional needs, promoting inclusion and equal access
• Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment
• Contribute to school life, including trips, events, and extracurricular activities

We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)
• A nurturing, positive attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and show initiative
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment
• A relevant TA qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3) is an advantage but not essential
