Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Sheffield)
Pay: £89 – £100 per day (PAYE)
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner, if available)

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with SEND
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Assist with classroom management and preparation of teaching materials
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a primary school or with children is desirable
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) is preferred but not essential
• A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
