Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? Do you want to make a real difference in the classroom every day? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Sheffield.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will help deliver engaging lessons, provide one-to-one or small group support, and assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
• Assist pupils with individual needs, including those with SEND
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and report on pupil progress
• Help maintain classroom resources and displays

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• A patient, caring and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential
