Salary: £89-£100 a day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Term time only)

We are a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Sheffield looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across the school. You’ll help deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide one-to-one and small group support, and assist in creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils’ learning in class, in small groups, and one-to-one
• Assist with planning and preparation of classroom activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and help manage classroom routines
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to meet individual student needs
• Support pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children in an educational setting
• Is passionate about helping children thrive and achieve their potential
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is patient, flexible, and a team player
• Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or is working towards one)
