The role:

• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Location: Richmond
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• PAYE £80-£90

Responsibilities:

• Supervising group activities, sport events and school outings
• Looking after children who are unwell or upset
• Recording and reporting children’s progress to the class Teacher
• Assisting the teacher in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
• Help children stay focused during class hours
• Help the teacher manage student behaviour

Skills needed for this role:

• Excellent verbal communication skills for motivating children to learn
• Organised – to ensure a clean and safe classroom for the students.
• Creativity- to come up with fun and engaging activities that allow the students to improve their numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Active listening skills
