- Have experienced working within a classroom and one to one with students
- Being able to be flexible and open to change
- Be calm and patient
- Sensitive towards the children’s social, emotional and physical needs
What will the job role involve:
- Helping teachers to plan lessons by handing out workbooks, worksheets, and equipment
- Listening to children read, and supporting them spelling and pronunciation of words they are struggling with.
- Encouraging children’s creative ideas
- Supporting children in the classroom and at break and lunch
- Keeping record of the children progress
