Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – About the role:

As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant you would be supporting the academic progress and welfare of two Key Stage 2 students who have additional learning needs / difficulties. You would be essential to supporting both the students class teachers and the schools SENDCo.

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – This role will offer you the opportunity to:

• Work with 2 students who have additional learning needs

• Focus on behaviour, ADHD and ASD

• 1:1 and class work

• Support primary teachers across upper KS2

• Gain invaluable classroom experience

• Put your SEN knowledge to perfect use

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate specification:

• Prior SEN / education experience

• Autism knowledge

• Compassionate and patient matter

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work as an individual and part of a team

• Good availability, being able to work under short notice
