Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in Sheffield.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers in the classroom, helping pupils reach their full potential in a nurturing and stimulating environment. You will assist with classroom management, work with small groups or individual pupils, and contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning across the curriculum
• Work one-to-one or with small groups of children to reinforce learning
• Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
• Provide support for children with additional needs
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive environment
• Participate in school events, trips, and activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (preferred)
• A patient, caring, and flexible approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to learn and a proactive attitude
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) are desirable but not essential
