Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive in the classroom? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils and teachers, making a real difference to children’s learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Work with individuals and small groups to boost learning and confidence
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), where required
• Help with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays
• Contribute to the overall life of the school, including school trips and events

Person Specification:

• Experience working with children (in a school or similar setting)
• A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
