• £85 – £100 per day, PAYE – Dependent on Experience and Qualifications
• Full Time, Long Term – Monday – Friday (08:30 – 16:00)
• Mainstream Primary School – General Teaching Assistant

Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join one of our vibrant Mainstream Primary Schools on a full time, long term basis, with a September 2023 start. The school is Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ and they are seeking someone who can come in and easily build positive rapports with both staff and students.

Requirements:

• A strong academic background, educated to degree level or equivalent (Desired, not essential). Minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Math (Essential)
• A ‘Can do’ attitude
• Have experience supporting pupils in a classroom setting
• Be passionate about supporting pupils and dedicated to aiding their academic attainment level
• Be able to build positive rapport with staff and students to help maintain the fantastic working relationship with staff and the diverse and inclusive learning environment for pupils

Main responsibilities:

• You will be required to assist the Class Teacher in supporting a Year 4 class in a Mainstream Primary School
• You will be tasked with undertaking administrative duties such as updating and/or removing class display boards
• You will need to liaise with the Class Teacher and the parents/carers to provide feedback on pupil progress
• You will need to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times
