A progressive and inclusive primary school in Nine Elms is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs .This role will suit someone who is confident in supporting communication development through structured interventions and close collaboration with class teachers and the SENCO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to pupils with SLCN, including vocabulary building, early phonics, and expressive/receptive language
• Work closely with external Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) where applicable
• Adapt teaching materials to support individual communication goals

Candidate Requirements:

• Recent Graduate (desired, not essential)
• Previous experience working with children with speech and language needs or alongside SALTs
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• A one-week notice period is required before starting
