Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of our students. You will work closely with teachers to provide individual and group support, helping to create a positive and effective learning environment. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, supporting students with special educational needs, and contributing to the overall school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support the assessment and recording of student progress.
- Assist with classroom management and organization.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is preferred.
- A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable but not essential.
