Teaching Assistant | Sutton Borough | Full-Time | Long-Term | Competitive Pay

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a wonderful school in the Sutton Borough.

The role involves providing additional support to the class teacher in a KS1 or KS2 classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping students to achieve their full potential, with a focus on ensuring that all children are engaged and challenged in their learning.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and enthusiastic individual who is able to build strong relationships with both students and staff. They will also have experience working in a similar role and will have a sound understanding of the National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with the class teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning
• Providing additional support to students who require extra assistance
• Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Contributing to the planning and preparation of lessons
• Supporting children with their social and emotional development
• Monitoring and recording student progress

The successful candidate will have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or an equivalent qualification. They will also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

This is a part-time position, with the possibility of it becoming full-time for the right candidate. The salary will be competitive and dependent on experience.
