Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join one of our vibrant mainstream primary schools on a long term basis.

The Job Requirements:

· Work under the guidance of the class teacher to support the management of the classroom

· Assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a positive learning environment for pupils

· Promote the inclusion of all pupils and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times

· Contribute to the personal and academic progress of all students and encourage them to become independent learners and help to raise the standards of achievements for all students

The Right Candidate will have:

· GCSE English and Maths grade C or above

· Empathy and understanding of students needs

· Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations

· Proven ability to work on their own initiative

· A commitment to the happiness and wellbeing of the staff team
