The Role :

• Position : Teaching Assistant
• Location : Walworth
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• £80-£90 per day, PAYE – No hidden Agency/Umbrella company fees

Within this role you will be required to work alongside a year 6 class who are preparing for their end of year SATS. You will be a general Teaching Assistant, responsible for supporting students with class work and helping the class teacher to maintain a calm behaviour and a positive attitude to learning. You may also be required to work 1:1 and in small groups to help raise attainment levels in core subjects (English, Math, Science). You will be responsible for supervising pupils at lunch in the lunch hall and at play/lunch time in the playground.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a professional setting, specifically with primary school children. You will also need a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and a good academic background so you are able to help the children reach their full potential.

The school is located in Walworth and has a close proximity to public transport, which makes it easy to commute to. The school has a friendly nature, with the staff team being very welcoming and very supportive on new staff.
