Teaching Assistant Wanted for Year 5 Class in Croydon Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a school in Croydon. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to provide support to a Year 5 class of 30 students.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the class teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons
• Supporting individual students or small groups with their learning
• Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment
• Assisting with classroom management and discipline
• Helping to prepare and organize learning materials
• Providing feedback to the class teacher on student progress
• Supporting students with special needs or disabilities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 2 qualification in a related field such as teaching assistant or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working with primary school-aged children
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
