Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Wimbledon and they are looking to recruit a motivated Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time-long term role from Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will need more than a years’ experience working with children in a professional setting and a DBS on the update service.

As a Teaching Assistant you will work with the class teacher, supporting them planning and delivering the lessons. You will also need to ensure that you are following health and safety guidelines to make sure the children are safe at all times during break and lunch as well. You will be responsible for helping the class teacher manage class behaviour within the classroom and during school trips.

Requirements / Teaching Assistant:

• Strong academic background
• Proactive, reliable, and professional attitude
• Experience working with children
• Confidence supporting across the primary curriculum
• Comfort in supporting students with special education needs (SEN)
