Teaching Assistant | Year 1 Challenging behaviour | Uxbridge

Ortus recruitment are working alongside a fantatic mainstream primary school based near Uxbridge, London Borough of Hillingdon, who are looking for a SEND/SEMH experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 1 child who displays challenging behaviour due to extensive SEMH.

The ideal Teaching Assistant would be a compassionate and reliable individual, Team Teach qualified, who has a nurturing and calm nature.

This role holds great impact on the child in question and would be an excellent opportunity to make a huge difference in their life, as well as expand on your skillset as a SEND Teaching Assistant.

Teaching Assistant role benefits:

• £75 – £90 PAYE daily rate (No umbrella company fees!)

Teaching Assistant must:

• Team Teach qualified (ideally)
• Have at least 6 months experience working with SEND/ SEMH/ Challenging behaviour
• Have a calm, compassionate, adaptable nature
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service / willing to apply for a new one
• 2 References
• Level 3 childcare qualification / relevant Degree i.e., Psychology
• Proof of right to work in the UK
