Ortus Recruitment are working with a fantastic mainstream primary school within the Richmond borough and they are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time – long term role in a year 2 class. The ideal candidate will have more than a years’ experience working with children in a professional setting, and a fully enhanced DBS or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52).

The role:

• Position: Teaching Assistant – Year 2 class
• Location: Fulwell
• Full time-long term
• Immediate start
• Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:00pm)

Within this role you will be working within a year 2 class, supporting the class teacher by helping them plan, prepare and deliver lessons, ensuring they are meeting the KS1 criteria. You will also be responsible for ensuring the children are staying engaged, and working 1:1 with children who have learning difficulties.

The ideal candidate will:

• Fully enhanced DBS or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52)
• SEN experience
• Able to commute
• Have a kind and nurturing nature
