Ortus Recruitment currently seeks for an enthusiastic Trainee Teaching Assistant with appropriate qualifications to join the Key Stage 1 team in our partnered mainstream school based in the Lambeth Borough. This role offers excellent opportunities for the successful candidate to gain a permanent contract with the school if you impress during your placement. S/he must have a clear philosophy of education and be committed to outstanding teaching and learning.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a core subject (Maths, English, Science, Psychology, Drama)
• Experience working with children in a professional environment.
• Able to develop positive relationships.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
• Able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour.

Please Note: We welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children.
