Ortus recruitment are seeking a passionate individual who is looking to work in the education sector. This role is a full-time long-term position in the Wandsworth area in a friendly and welcoming school.  

The desired candidate for this role will be someone who has a strong passion for supporting children and being able to aid the classroom teacher with daily activities. The chosen applicant will need to have prior experience working with children/people 1:1 or in groups and be able to effectively communicate with parents, teachers, and children.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or other individuals in a professional environment.
• Experience with supporting children 1:1 or in groups.
• Experience working with SEN (preferred).
• Willing to work hard and be proactive in daily activities.
• Soft skills of organisation, time management, problem solving and critical thinking.
• Sensitivity and understanding skills
• Active listening skills
• Willing to be flexible and open to change, as well as adapt to changing environments.
