Job Information:

• Position: Unqualified EYFS Teaching Assistant  
• Pay: £85 – £100 per day, PAYE – No hidden agency/umbrella company fees
• Location: Lewisham, Lee Green
• Role: Full time, Long term – Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:00

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has experience working alongside children the ages between 0-5, and comfortable working 1:1 and in small groups supporting both mainstream and SEN learners. We will accept transferrable skills and relevant experience such as nannying or childminding. The school is a mainstream primary school, with a separate building specifically for the nursery. The school is Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’. The school boasts vast outdoor space and a modern buildings with lifts.

The main responsibilities within this role include:

• Assisting the class teacher with supporting the learners with tasks and activities made to aid the academic, mental and physical development of the pupils
• You will be responsible for escorting the pupils in the corridor to the lunch hall and the playground to ensure pupils are displaying calm behaviour
• You will be responsible for assisting the class teacher with nap time and snack time, helping to prepare the snacks and ensuring a safe environment
• You will need to liaise with the class teacher and ensure pupils working 1:1 and in small groups are receiving the necessary support
• You will be responsible for providing feedback to parents/carers about pupil progress and their academic and behavioural progress
