Employment Type: Full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Salary: £425 – £525 PAYE (No umbrella) per week. Depending on experience

Ortus Recruitment seeks a patient and attentive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a four-form entry school rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

This position involves providing 1:1 support for a child in Year One awaiting an ADHD diagnosis. Responsibilities include offering consistent, child-specific assistance, building a supportive relationship, managing behavior, and ensuring the child stays on task.

The school has very supportive staff eager to welcome the new LSA to join their team. This school has received good feedback from candidates and there is always room to grow within the school.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have relevant experience with SEND and ADHD.
• Have experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
• Are skilled in managing behavior and handling refusal.
• Are nurturing, caring, patient, and able to form relationships quickly.
• Possess knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum.
• Hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
