Location: Wembley Park, Brent
Employment Type: Full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Salary: £425 – £500 PAYE (No umbrella) per week. Depending on experience

Our client primary school in Brent is seeking a dedicated LSA to join their team. Conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Wembley Park Station, the school is well-connected by numerous bus routes, ensuring an easy commute. Situated in a vibrant area, the school is surrounded by parks, restaurants, cafes, and a variety of shops.

Your role:

As an LSA, you will work one-on-one in a mainstream year 4 classroom with a child who is academically behind, providing targeted interventions to support their learning. Additionally, you will assist other children in the class and help manage classroom behavior.

The ideal Teaching Assistant should:

• Have a genuine passion for or experience working with children with SEN
• Be flexible, proactive, and patient
• Be resilient, passionate, and driven to go above and beyond for children of all needs
• Be open to providing personal care
• Training or experience in non-verbal communication is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential. For example Makaton, PECS (desired)
• Level 3 qualification or higher
