Unqualified Learning Support Mentor

We work with a number of schools, all rated ‘Good‘ or ‘Outstanding‘ by Ofsted, with supportive senior leadership teams and opportunities for further career progression.

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:
– Provide support and assistance to individuals with Special Educational Needs, including children with Autism
– Assist in the implementation of educational and behavioural programs for individuals with SEN
– Help create a safe and inclusive environment for all students
– Support students in daily activities, lessons and routines
– Foster social interaction and communication skills development
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent care and support
Skill Requirements:
– Experience working with children in a classroom setting
– Knowledge of SEN principles and practices
– Ability to effectively communicate and engage with individuals with SEN
– Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with SEN students
– Strong organizational skills to assist in planning and implementing programs
This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality support to SEN students. The successful Learning Support Assistant will play a vital role in helping students develop essential skills and reach their full potential.
