Ortus Recruitment is looking to recruit a number of Learning Support Assistants who are flexible, assertive and patient to work in an Ofsted-rated ‘good’ school in the London Borough of Barnet.

The role:

The successful candidates will be working amongst the Early Years and KS1 classes that consist of children with various additional needs. These needs include; ADHD, ASD, challenging behaviour and Global Delay. You must be open to working on a 1:1 basis with a range of children to aid in their academic, social and emotional development by promoting an inclusive, safe and engaging environment for them to thrive.

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm)**

Main Expectations:

• 3+ months experience working with children with SEN
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of the curriculum
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
