This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. As a vital team member, you will provide invaluable support to SEN students through personalised 1:1 sessions and small group interventions. Your role as a Speech and Language TA:

• Collaborate with the Early Years team to support pupils’ learning
• Provide targeted 1:1 assistance to students with Speech and Language difficulties
• Facilitate small group intervention activities
• Receive dedicated support and guidance from the SENCO and Class Teacher

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:

• Have a genuine passion for or experience working with children with SEN
• Be flexible, proactive and patient
• Be resilient, passionate and driven to go above and beyond for children of all needs
• Be open to providing personal care
• Training or experience in non-verbal communication is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential. For example Makaton, PECS
