Pay: £85–£105 per day (PAYE)
Role: Full-time, long-term
Ortus Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join a mainstream primary school in Brent as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing 1:1 support to a Key Stage 1 pupil with autism (ASC).

Key Responsibilities
- Support a KS1 pupil with autism in their learning, development, and daily activities.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child’s needs are met.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Encourage the child’s independence, confidence, and social skills.
Requirements
- Must have 3–6 months of experience working with children, ideally in a SEN setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable nature.
- A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly autism.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
