We are seeking a Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to work within the Key Stage 1 team to support children with special educational needs (SEN) and help create an engaging, inclusive classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students in Key Stage 1, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN).
- Assist the class teacher in the delivery of lessons, ensuring all children are fully included and engaged.
- Work closely with students, offering one-on-one or small group support to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Support the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor and assess student progress.
Essential Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- Patience, proactivity, and a nurturing attitude towards children.
- The ability to work effectively within a team.
- A positive and inclusive approach to supporting students, especially those with SEN.
- No prior qualifications are required—this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start or develop a career in education and child development.
- Experience in schools, early years settings, or child-focused roles is desirable but not essential.
